[edit] History
The roots of the assembly in Puslinch can be traced back to a series of talks given on the Ground of Gathering at the home of Ralph and Jane Pilkington. The Pilkingtons were asked by other local believers if the table could be set in their home. The Puslinch Assembly began breaking bread on January 21, 1994 at the Pilkington home with 17 people. This growing assembly continues to meet at the Pilkington home and holds meetings throughout the week.
[edit] Meetings
Breaking of Bread is held every Sunday at 10:30 am, and Prayer & Reading meeting (Bible study) is held every Thursday at 7:30 pm. On the third Sunday of every month, the assembly remains at the Pilkington home for lunch, or as it is commonly called, "Fellowship Tea," or simply "Tea." After the Tea, another Bible study meeting is held at approximately 1:30 pm (this meeting is not an 'assembly meeting' and is open for anyone to ask questions).
[edit] Hamilton Sunday School
Several sisters and brothers from the Puslinch Assembly maintain a Sunday School outreach at the Hamilton Gospel Hall in the City of Hamilton. The outreach is held every Sunday at 4:00 pm (except during Summer and statutory holidays), and is open for anyone, both children and adults, to attend and participate. Individual classes are organized based on age group.
[edit] People
Many within the assembly come from a variety of backgrounds. Students attending school at nearby universities in the cities of Guelph and Waterloo often meet with the assembly in Puslinch to worship and break bread together during the school year.
