Harry was a carpenter by trade. He worked for Robert McClintock for a number of years, and then worked at Consumer's gas (still in carpentry). Harry suffered a fracture in his femur bone, which left him in hospital for 9 months. This left him with a permanent limp. The accident occured in August, just 2 months after he and Isabel were married!
Harry & Isabel have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. They fellowshiped at Faith Chapel for 35 years before coming to Markham in 1986.
In the winter of 1992/93, Harry and Isabel remodelled their cottage on the shores of Lake Simcoe (Jacksons Point), making it into their permanent residence. On completion of the renovations they sold their home in Sutton Estates and moved their permanently.
