Edward Studied medicine at Math Hospital, Dublin
In 1826, Edward started to meet with Edward Wilson, John Purnell (now Lord Congleton), and Dr. Kitto to break bead.

1829 Edward's first wife passed away, He was only merried one year to her. At that time him and a number of friends went to the East to bring the gospel.

In 1835 Cronin left Syria for the Madras Presidency of India

By 1837 Edward was on his way back to England.
There in 1838 he married the daughter of Sir John Kennaway, Bart., of Escot, Devon After a time he ended up in Brixton, where he raised a family and had a long carrier in the study of Homoeopathy.
Dr. Edward Cronin son Dr. Eugene Cronin, is the well-known homoeopathic physician. Another of his sons is a homoeopathic dentist.
