Ebcalumni.net
EBCAlumni.net was created to provide past and present students of Emmaus Bible College a central forum for talking, sharing photos, and reminiscing about their college days. This website is provided as a non-profit ministry, and functions solely on the donations of others. All of the server setup and support for EBCAlumni.net is provided by Steve Schletty and Hauns Froehlingsdorf, completely free of charge.
The history of ebcalumni.net: In June of 2005, Doug Engle created a Google Mailing List with the intent of getting a number of alumni back in touch with eachother. This project was met with enough success that Paul decided to develop an entire website system specifically for Emmaus alumni. At that time, he had been working on a community profile system for another one of his websites. This design would later become EBCAlumni.net. He provides all of the web design and programming for EBCAlumni.net.
Paul attended Emmaus Bible College in 1999, where he met his wife Laura (Schiltz). They now live in Minneapolis, MN and have three children; Zachary, Bailey and Austin. After attending Emmaus, Paul worked for the music group Acappella, in Paris, TN. He was in charge of creating/designing their web site and producing interactive CD ROM material. He is currently the Vice President of Service Lighting.
Paul currently attends Church of the Open Door with his wife and children. In his free time, he enjoys playing drums/percussion, playing with his kids, and taking his wife out on dates.
In January 2007, the site was taken over by Matthew Shields (alum '92/'93) and is maintained by his company Cyberbite Networks, a small Christian owned webhosting company.
